Description

Visit Portugal’s best-kept secret, the Azores! The remote nine-island archipelago is best known for their vibrantly-colored blue green lakes, grottoes, volcanic mountian peaks, colorful hydrangeas, ancient fishing villages, thermal springs and vast untouched lanscapes. These lush green islands make the Azores a perfect destination for an adventurous and nature-filled vacation.

The villa is located on Pico Island, the second largest island of the Azores, situatied 2350m above sea level. The stunning villa offers four bedrooms, all with an ensuite, a private infinity pool and a hot tub. The villa is modern and fully stocked with all the comforts of home.

Depart in a speed boat for an incredible three-hour whale watching experience. The Azores Islands are considered to be one of the best spots in the world to whale watch, thanks to its variety and abundance of different species. You will have the chance to spot resident sperm whales and migrating blue, humpback, and fin whales.

You and your guests will be fully immersed in nature, soaking up the beautiful scenery as you embark on a hike, climbing Pico Mountain, the tallest volcano of the Azores Islands. Your certified mountain guide will monitor your safety while sharing interesting information about the formation of the Islands, the Volcano, and its wonderful and complex biodiversity.

Spend a day exploring the exotic wine culture of the Pico volcano area, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit several small traditional villages surrounded by the volcanic stone vineyards, old wineries and distilleries, the modern day cooperative and small producers. Walk through the incredibly beautiful and unique coastal vineyards, planted on lavic soil and protected by small stone walls known as Currais de Vinha, that help block the wind coming from the sea.

The Azores natural wonder vacation allows you to breathe in the wild and fresh air of the islands, while relaxing in true luxury!
