We all wish we could be kids again. While a time machine is not exactly an option, Dig This turns your sandbox days into reality. Perfect for the big kids at heart (fourteen years and older), this ninety-minute experience allows you the chance to operate a state-of-the-art Caterpillar D-5 track-type bulldozer or 315CL hydraulic excavator. If you choose to take on the bulldozer, you will get to dig trenches, ride over tall mounds and push gigantic boulders. In addition to pushing boulders, with the excavator, you will have the chance to lift two thousand-pound tires and stack them up into a pyramid formation.
Whether you choose the excavator or the bulldozer ride, both missions are challenging and fun, and with five acres of a super-sized sandbox, you will have room to get down and dirty.
After a brief safety and equipment orientation, you will be given a hard hat, vest and radio. Once you climb aboard, you will be operating an excavator or bulldozer in no time. Don’t be intimidated by all the switches and gears, even the most scaredy-cat driver will gain confidence with the help of an experienced instructor talking to you step-by-step via radio.
Once you have completed your work (fun work, at that!), you will be given a personalized certificate of completion for your duties, then head out and enjoy all that Las Vegas has to offer you, a guaranteed fun trip!
